JOB DESCRIPTION / SCOPE OF WORK Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition allows guests to admire Michelangelo's masterpieces up close like never before. We’re building a small team of staff to assist guests as they visit Vatican City to view the Sistine Chapel right from the heart of Indianapolis. We’re looking for a team of individuals who are passionate, hardworking, creative, and energetic to become the guests main point of contact across multiple areas of the experience. Assistant Manager Assist the Manager with scheduling and breaking staff as needed Work with Manager to communicate with HQ regarding employee issues and resolutions Experience with Point of Sale systems for gift shop, audio guide and walk up customers Patient with guests who experience trouble with technology Comfortable interacting with guests and giving instruction on audio guide via QR code and ‘rented’ device Work with Manager to communicate closely with Operations to manage and process inventory and merchandise Responsible for assisting staff in managing the guest experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Awareness of guest interaction, safety and overall guest experience Direct staff on how to set up and keep gift area tidy Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays if needed Must have a positive, outgoing, energetic demeanor and able to maintain a good attitude Must be at least 18 years of age Knowledge of fine art and/or art history is encouraged, but not required ====================================================================== IMPORTANT DETAILS Location: Circle Centre Mall 49 W Maryland St, Indianapolis, IN 46204 Project Dates: Training: on the job, need staff ASAP Open to Public: Jul 8, 2022 Conclusion: Aug 28, 2022 Pay: $21.50/HR Full-Time position for the duration of the experience Must be available for training ahead of the experience opening (included in dates above) Exhibit Hours: Tues - Sun 10am - 6pm (staff hours will be approx. 30 mins before open and 90 mins after close) All staff must be fully vaccinated TO APPLY Email us at: [email protected] Email Subject Line: Assistant Manager - IND Include: Resume In the body of the email, in lieu of a traditional cover letter, please include a response to the following: Tell us about any pertinent previous and/or current consumer facing employment experiences, describe those experiences and tell us why you’re the perfect candidate to fill this position We look forward to hearing from you!
