City of Entrepreneurs is intended to create and actively strengthen an ecosystem designed to support minority entrepreneurs through research, training, and development; business incubation; and business acceleration. City of Entrepreneurs operates at a regional level, partnering with city governments and regional stakeholders to strengthen local small business ecosystems that remove barriers and create policies that advance BIPOC Entrepreneurship and improve quality of life for BIPOC citizens and their communities. We have successfully piloted this program in Kansas City, MO, and are excited to bring it to Arkansas!
The City of Entrepreneurs initiative endeavors to connect all the stakeholders in our region, including BIPOC entrepreneurs/small business owners, government officials/public policy makers, corporate partners, and entrepreneurial support organizations. At this kickoff, hear from a panel of Venture Noire's leadership along with partners from Kansas City to discuss the impetus for this program and the learning outcomes so far.
Venture Noire is a think tank that exists to close the wealth gap for Black Americans. We relentlessly work to uncover solutions to the economic challenges that plague the Black and other underserved communities, and create pathways to impact and change through our innovative programs and projects.
At our core, we are hyper-focused on creating self-sustaining economic ecosystems focused on minimizing the impact of income inequality by providing Black entrepreneurs with critical training and capital needed to thrive.
