I'm a female vocalist in my late twenties and I moved (back) to Denver just a few days ago. I have about 15 years of fairly formal experience, starting at an early age in a gigging folk band with my brother, voice/piano/guitar lessons + theory, small a capella ensembles, countless choir festivals, work with bands, and three years as a vocal performance major in college, with hopes of going into choral conducting.
I have been away from performance and musical community for about 7 years, since I had my daughter. I am out of practice, I'm afraid, but I miss that "tight-knit" group of musicians and the feeling of achievement through practice. I don't have a specific project in mind, but if you're putting together an ensemble or project in the near future, I'd love to be a part of it.
