Matthew Reidy Landscaping is looking for a lead laborer to come on and work a minimum of 4 days a week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday guaranteed, occasional Wednesdays. The jobs are in Makena, Kihei and Paia. Pay starting at 25$ an hour and comes with a $200 bonus after 60 days of on-time employment. Upon receiving this bonus, pay is open to negotiation. If you show up late during this short initial period of employment, we will go another direction and look for another individual to fill the position. We are a small landscape company specializing in high end properties. We deal with mainly ocean front properties with seashore lawns and highly detailed gardens. I am looking for an individual with landscaping experience and a detail oriented strong work ethic. I am also looking for someone that works well with a team, is looking to work a minimum of 4 days a week and capable of working 8-9 hour days in the South side summer heat. Please do not apply if you can only work 2 or 3 days a week. Job requirements include - Reliable transportation & phone for communication - Ability to lift 50 lbs barrels of greenwaste/ debris - General knowledge of tropical plants - Ability to operate & maintain a reel mower, weed eater and hedge trimmer - Desire to work - Healthy, positive attitude - A sense of urgency and ability to complete simple tasks in a timely manner Zero- tolerance for no-call no-shows.
