drummer wanted 4 punk/indie/grunge-ish/shoegaze/pop thing

24 y/o, I write songs+play guitar in a couple semi-established indie/punkish bands in the LA area (contact me for links), currently looking for a new drummer for my own project. Gonna be playing more shows and have connections to some bigger indie/shoegaze/punk bands (julie, skating polly, milly, etc), I just need a drummer I 'click' with more for the style/genre I'm currently shooting for. Functional rehearsal space at my house, also down to just jam/talk/write music and feel stuff out before making any commitments. Preferably age 18-25. influences: nirvana, duster, my bloody valentine, alex g, slint, radiohead, pixies, sonic youth, show me the body, modest mouse, death grips, joy division, teen suicide/sam ray projects, radiohead, king krule, daniel johnston, elliott smith, sebadoh, bedhead, built to spill, pavement, and similar stuff. Financially limited (musician trying to survive in LA) but I will make it worth your while, gas money or however I can, if things feel right. Obviously you'll be paid for paid gigs tours etc. We're a 3 piece and that money is split evenly. Lot of clubs and DIY/house shows, currently focused on getting good recordings and promotion/mgmt. I'm confident I have accumulated some pretty strong material over the years, and I think having the right drummer can make or break the delivery of these songs. Definitely want to get more experimental as this band progresses, but in this current stage, our songs call for drums that are more grounded in service to the song // focused on being concise, consistent and memorable rather than experimental/improvisational/showy.
