I'm a busy artist (Instagram: @hein_koh) in Greenpoint/East Williamsburg seeking the above for my twin 7-year-old girls, about 10-15 hours per week. Basically another me (except I don't know French!). Position involves picking girls up from school, driving my girls and their friend to music class on Thursdays, helping with homework daily including French homework (they are in a dual language program), straightening up the house, loading dishes in dishwasher, food prep, etc. Must have experience babysitting this age group, a car for driving and immaculate driving record (parking tickets ok), and familiarity with French. General schedule (subject to change) is Mon from 3:15 or 4:15 until 6:15, Tues from 3:15 or 4:15 until 6:15, Thurs from 2:15 until 8:30pm. If interested, additional hours can be added by helping to clean my studio and brushes once a week.
Great position for a student or young artist with a flexible schedule and seeking to learn from an older, more established artist. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Start date is around Sept 8th, but some hours might be available sooner in the summer.
Requirements: 2 solid babysitting references plus a cover letter describing why you would be qualified for the position and your related experience, and a resume.
