Sphere Solar Energy is looking to hire a self-motivating Lead Install Technician to join the company. We want to hire someone who is excited to work, has a great attitude and ready to motivate the team, all while being professional and knowledgeable. As a Lead Install Technician you will be the main point of contact for all installations, daily, and will execute quality and efficient solar installs. RESPONSIBILITY: -Point of contact for all installs, effective communication is required, provide excellent level of service, managing the field team out on site -Oversee and responsible for all aspects of the solar installations -Regularly communicate with Operations Manager & Install Coordinator regarding status of project, timeframe, next steps, and issues in a timely manner -Communicate personally with each installer daily (approximately 3 pm) to determine status of job completion- reports results to operations manager and install coordinator -Main point of contact for field crew -Coordinate with materials suppliers for itemized lists of order delivery, additional items needed etc -Provides quality control/assurance inspections of completed tasks -Demonstrates good customer relations and support; communicates customer needs to install coordinator/operations manager -Completes parts orders and identifies parts for return- coordinate with Operations Manager to ensure items delivered are invoiced, and items that are missing will not be charged -Communicate with clients & Install Coordinator regarding scope, timeline, issues, maintenance etc. -Ensure the inverters have been scanned, and uploaded. Provide the client a walkthrough on how to use it -Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards -OSHA certified safety, ensure team is working per standards and following rules and regulations -Follows standard procedures and processes to ensure that the job progression stays on time and able to instruct laborer/helpers -Communicate to office staff as to what scope has been completed and what remains, the timeframe of completion for -scheduling -Must be available to pick up materials on will call- short notice, and communicate material list to office staff QUALIFICATIONS: -3+ years of experience, with an expert level of solar enphase PV systems and their apps; as well as ability to troubleshoot and repair solar PV systems -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Be able to following OSHA requirements and safety precautions per company procedures and policies -Must possess a OSHA 10 card, or will be working on obtaining it -Knowledge of Solar/ PV/ Battery parts and their functions -Must provide basic hand tools -Able to work in hot and cold environments -Physically capable of performing duties that include standing for long periods of time, walking and climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects, pushing, etc. -Excellent attention to detail -Basic Math skills -Must be able to meet short deadlines with the ability to work variable hours when project requires -Clean driving record -Willingness to arrive on time and show motivation, good attendance/attitude COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Medical/Dental/Vision Vacation
