Full-Time and Part-time positions available Mountain Lake and Pond Inc. LLC (MLP), is a company with over 40 years of experience in aquatic weed and algae control. We provide our services to many locations throughout the Carolinas and its surrounding states; including 70+ golf courses and 150+ residential/commercial accounts. We also provide erosion and siltation control services. This position is perfect for the person who wants to get behind the wheel and experience this beautiful region of the country. Our employees get to be outdoors, on foot or in a boat everyday! We work in the Mountains of NC all the way to the Coast of SC and everywhere in between. See some of the nicest golf courses and properties these states have to offer! MLP offers its employees a 4 DAY WORK WEEK, Mon. - Thurs. with 10 hr shifts. That's a 3 day weekend, every weekend! Competitive compensation commensurate with experience. Annual PTO and paid holidays are provided and management is very flexible with scheduling, meaning it’s a great opportunity for a person with a family. Spray Technicians will gain experience with chemical applications, granular applications, calibration, record keeping and chemical inventory. There will also be opportunities for repair and maintenance, as well as other hands-on outside work. Spray Technicians will work closely with the General Manager and other technicians daily. Employees should adhere to a professional appearance as client interactions are quite common and encouraged. _________________________________________________________________ Educational Requirements: Associates/Certificate or bachelor’s degree in the Earth Sciences or related field preferred but not required. Experience Requirements: Golf course and/or pesticide application experience is a plus but not required. Paid Training provided. Special Requirements: We are looking for self-starters and individuals with a passion for the outdoors and aquatic environments. Attention to detail is particularly important. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on their feet for extended periods.
