I adopted a cat through a no kill shelter. I was insured he was good with kids but I have had him for 4 months now and every single day he has attacked my 2 year old son. Sometimes I get when my son is giving him hugs and he doesn’t feel like being messed with but the majority of the attacks are just when my son is near. I don’t want to give him back to the lady that was fostering him before because she didn’t take the best care of him.
His name is Licorice. He’s a special needs cat but nothing too severe. He has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) that is moderately severe. He does best when he is on either carpet or rugs. So if you don’t have carpet I can give you the rugs that I bought for him just because he does a lot better on those. I can also give the food, litter, litter box, food bowls, and scratching post that I bought for him as I will be fostering dogs after I no longer have Licorice and will not need these items in the future. As per the guidelines here on CL and because I want to make sure that he goes to a good home I will be asking for a small rehoming fee. Please TEXT if you are interested. Posting my number on CL always gets me a bunch of spam calls so please text so I know you’re serious about it. Only serious inquiries please.
