I offer private voice lessons, tailored to all levels, whether you are interested in opera, musical theater, or pop, or are an actor or public speaker looking to improve your speaking voice. No singing experience is necessary - beginners are welcome. I focus on the old Italian Opera school of Bel Canto: an unforced, free and resonant sound, supported by a natural cycle of breathing for support. A little bit about me: -opera/musical theater tenor with many years of experience on operatic and theater stages, as well as with recordings. I am also proficient in many styles, including jazz, world music, and pop. -Bachelor degrees in Music and Psychology - I have studied and worked with some of the most reputable industry people, including Met Opera singers Cheryl Studer and Jason Stearns, as well as award-winning record producer Pierre Marchand (producer for Sarah Mclachlan, among others). -Zen meditation practitioner and coach. -I am also an actor, and have studied at the Actors Studio - I strongly believe in incorporating that skill into my singing technique -I am proficient in several languages, including French, Greek and Italian. ***I'm located in Astoria, Queens. I do offer online as well as in-person lessons.
