We both glanced at each other in passing. Pleasantly intrigued, I looked back at you and noticed that you were doing the same. We both sheepishly smiled and moved on. We can probably kick ourselves for not both laughing, and at least stopping to briefly chat. But it was Trader Joe's, and not at some cozy local bar counter. You were wearing a floppy sun hat and sunglasses, so I didn't get a good look at you, and have no idea of your race/ethnicity (not important). I was the senior Caucasian man, 5'10" fit and active.
