The Columbia Mailman School of Public Health Center for Children's Environmental Health is hosting its annual college prep workshop on Saturday, August 6th from 12:30pm-3:30pm ET. This year’s workshop will be held in hybrid format and will be taking place at the Mailman School of Public Health Allan Rosenfield Building at 722 West 168th Street. This free workshop will be placing emphasis on the college application process, college essay writing, how to pay for college, and how to navigate the financial aid/scholarship application world, particularly for students who are first generation college applicants. This event is a great opportunity for students to not only receive some of this initial guidance but to also engage with experts who are willing to serve as ongoing resources for them as they embark on the application journey this summer and fall.
