Drywall Texture Crewperson
General Functions:
1. Performs drywall texture duties in a productive manner to include: - preparing material (including 402 and knockdown) by mixing components accurately- preparing surfaces before applying specified coatings
2. Utilizes standard paint equipment such as paint and airless spray equipment, motorized lifts, paint brushes and other related equipment.
3. Applies technical knowledge of all coating materials to ensure acceptable application.
4. Prepares for texture by erecting scaffold and ladders properly.
5. Disposes of residual materials appropriately.
6. Assists with the training of apprentices.
7. Reports to management when the work is completed and/or if there are problems/discrepancies with the jobs.
8. Maintains work area in a neat and clean manner.
9. Advises management of malfunctioning tools and equipment.
10. Answers customer inquiry regarding jobs as needed.
11. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
12. Performs other related duties as assigned.
13. 1 year drywall experience is preferred but not required. The candidate may perform other duties as assigned or requested.
