Job description City Signs is an established and reputable sign company based in Modesto California. We design, manufacture and install custom signage for other business all over the central valley and northern California. As a sign installer, you'll manage the installation of many different types of signs in a variety of different environments. This position performs installation of all types of signage, both illuminated and non-illuminated, using a variety of equipment including bucket trucks, ladders, and lifts. Essential responsibilities include installing, repairing, and troubleshooting electric and non-electric signs, both exterior and interior. Must be extremely safety-oriented. Before applying, please note: - This is a full-time position. We work Monday through Friday, but some jobs require us to work early / late hours. Weekend work is rare, but happens on occasion - Overtime as jobs require is expected - This job can be physically demanding Requirements: - A clean driving record and reliable transportation - Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and respectfully with others - Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team - Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to think on your feet - High level of accuracy and quality - Good understanding of construction principles and related math skills - Know how to use all hand and power tools in a safe and professional manner - Be able to lift a minimum of 45 Lbs., work at heights, dig footings, holes for sign posts, etc. - Sign installation or construction experience is helpful, but not required - we will train the right candidate. Pay is dependent on experience. All applicants are drug tested prior to hiring and periodically at random. Sign installers are paid hourly. Rate depending on experience and skill.
