I am fostering a very sweet 5 year old, 50 lbs, female lab mix who is looking for a great home. This is what I know/have observed about her: The good- she is healthy, very quiet, gentle, loving, submissive, 100% house and potty trained, great on a leash, loves car rides (she lays right down), sleeps thru the night, wants to be by your side. She is a very easy and loving dog. The challenges-She does chase critters- maybe she could learn to leave cats alone but she has no cat experience. I also have no idea how she would be with other dogs. When we pass them on walks she is very interested and her tail is wagging like crazy but once she did snap at another dog. So maybe she would do best as an only dog but I really have no idea. I foster lots of dogs and she is by far one of the easiest, sweetest and most gentle that I have had. She loves everyone and would make a great pet. But again, I have no idea if she would be good with cats or dogs. If we meet and you seem like the right fit for her, I will ask that you make a $100. donation to the Chittenden Humane Society for her rehoming fee. She is a good girl and she deserves a great home.
