Our company has about 30 people in it, and about a forth of our employees have have been with our company for over 30 years. Our longest tenured employee just celebrated 40 years with us. What we can offer you: -This is a very special position at our company, in that we only have one slot dedicated to this particular job. You would be responsible for being the Direct Liaison of the Superintendents in the field and the Project Mangers in the office to ensure that all tools and materials are delivered everyday to the appropriate jobs. On a daily basis, materials and tools will need to be organized and put together either from stock at the shop, or need to be procured from different suppliers that we have relationships with. You will be responsible for figuring out the most efficient way to do this on a daily basis in order to stock up each job with the requests of the superintendents and Project Managers. All of our jobs are located within 50 miles of Ludlow MA Since the warehouse area of our shop is dedicated to the storage of all of our materials and tools, it will be a responsibility of yours to streamline organization, storage and functionality of the warehouse. You will start off by working alongside and reporting directly to the person who currently occupies this role. He is going to be retiring in short-order and will remain a member of the staff for long enough to train you and get you comfortable in your new position. He will show you all the various responsibilities of the occupation and prepare you for your role. The ultimate hope is that this is a position you can grow into as a life-long career as a member of our family. As you learn more about the role and become more and more comfortable and proficient in it, you will continue to get raises in pay. This role is one that, once you're in it, does not require a lot of direct supervision from management staff, because it will be readily clear whether you are doing your job well or not. As long as you are doing your work and getting things accomplished efficiently, you will basically be your own boss.
