GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH!! Commercial Glass Company seeking field installers with experience in storefront, curtain wall, pre-glazed windows, and aluminum panel installations. AND We are also seeking non-experienced individuals willing to be trained. Our company is seeking local candidates that will be eager to go through our training process with an end goal of becoming field foreman running crews of men on multi-million dollar projects. The most important thing for this position is the candidate must possess a POSITIVE attitude. As stated we are willing to provide the necessary training for you to be successful. You must report to our shop in Frederick MD daily and drive our vans to the project sites. We pay for drive time so no more “you get paid when you get to the job”. We work daily from 5:30 am to 4 pm so it's long days but again you are paid to drive the van, and on the way back that’s even at the overtime rate. Key factors that you MUST possess. - Ability to read a tape measure - Must have a current valid driver’s license. With a decent record. - Must be able to pass a prehire and random drug screenings - Must be able to lift 75 lbs unassisted - Ability to establish positive working relationships with our employees, subcontractors, and other job site personnel Key factors that will take you to the front of the line. - Ability to read blueprints and a tape measure - Dependability - Ability to work Safe and within OSHA guidelines - Background in Glass/Windows/Curtainwall - Background in Carpentry - Ability/desire to succeed long term. We have been in business since 1969 and we “hire to retire” several employees who are 30yr plus veterans. - Ability to plan ahead, stay organized and plan for the next morning each day - Knowledge of how to shoot grades, layouts, etc. - Ability to supervise the team and subcontractors on the job. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
