Runners will meet at the Mustang High School Stadium to compete in the 42nd Annual Western Days Stampede. Runners participate in the elementary school mile race, intermediate school mile race, middle school mile race, or the open 5K race. Races begin at varying times; see individual race entry for your race time. This is a fundraising event for the Mustang High School Cross Country Boosters. More than 600 participants are expected to lace up for this year’s race - Just Peachy! FAQs Is there a registration deadline to guarantee a t-shirt? Yes, the deadline to guarantee a t-shirt is Tuesday, August 30th.  After that date, t-shirts sizes are not guaranteed as quantities are limited. Where can I pick up my Race T-Shirt and Bib? Race packet pick-up for pre-registered runners is available on Fri, Sept 9th from 6-8 p.m. at Wild Horse Park during the Chili Cook-Off and also on Sat, Sept 10th beginning at 6 a.m. at the north entrance of the Mustang HS Football Stadium. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? For the safety of the runners, please park only in the student parking lot on the NORTH side of the high school stadium off Juniper Drive. PLEASE DO NOT park at Mustang South Middle School or the SOUTH side of the football stadium due to the location of the course.  What is the refund policy? There are no refunds or rain dates. This is a fundraiser event for the Mustang High School Cross Country teams. If you preregistered by August 30th, your t-shirt will be held for you until Sept 30th. Can I sign up to run with my child? Adults are NOT allowed to run with the children in any of the elementary mile races. This is for the safety and security of the children. We have safety net runners - the middle school and high school Cross Country runners - who will be on the course with the children. You may sign up and run in the 5K with your child if you want to run together. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, you will not need a ticket for the event.
