Beautiful Husky looking for a forever home

Description

This Husky is in need of a good, LOVING home. My family& I rescued her from a very negligent situation. The previous owners posted her online saying that if someone didn’t come get her they would euthanize her! They were going to put down a healthy, extremely friendly one year old girl because they weren’t responsible enough to care for her! The best thing they’ve done for her is let her go. She’s about a year old& has spent the majority of her life in a small cage outside. However since we’ve had her she’s been inside, met our cats& dogs and has been perfect. She just wants to play& get some good scratches. We’re already in love with her& are not in a rush to rehome her. The only reason we’re fostering instead of keeping her is because we already have three rescue dogs& cats. She’s not spayed but supposedly has her vaccinations, I’m just waiting for the previous “owners” to send the records. Last night she was dewormed& given flea medication as a safety/ health precaution. She also got a good bath today. So far we know that she loves car rides, has great temperament with humans& animals, likes to swim & is very food motivated. I’m not sure how she is with younger kids, my little brother is 16. She’s also very quiet, especially for a husky. She doesn’t bark at people or other animals, only when she’s playing but she still barely does. She’s a lover, definitely not a guard dog. She also doesn’t resource guard at all, I can put my whole hand in her mouth while she’s eating a treat, she’s very gentle. While she hasn’t had an accident yet, it’s safe to assume she’s not potty trained as she was kept in a small cage. However with her intelligence, that’ll be an easy hurtle to overcome. The only rehoming fee will be proof of your intent to get her spayed. If you’re an animal lover looking to adopt call or text me anytime.
