Pro musician/ frontman looking for drummer or possibly other musical creators in a similar spot in their (musical) life. I have been on musical hiatus for way too long. But in the last years I just didn't feel music. I felt I had reached my limit of expressing creativity through music. All has been there already and I found myself copying myself. Maybe there is a kindred spirit out there who has gone through a similar dry patch and is ready to create again. I have several albums released and am known for the type of instrument I play. I'm also working and collaborating with the world's best known spoon player. My dear friend who I have worked with in the past and who is also in a musical rut. I have no idea where this next phase may go, but in my past musical life I created music that was a mix of heavy Nintendo meeting Star Wars, Andrew Lloyd Webber, System of a Down, with the prog of Yes and the pomp of Styx and a Rammsteinish Queen with a touch of Primus, all wrapped in radio length dance songs George Clinton would tap his booted foot to. I'm mostly looking for a drummer at the moment as I would love to continue a duo setup in the beginning. There's enough sound made on my side that no other musicians will be needed to start out with. Except for the spoons of course which will be part of the setup. I'm rusty and play a crazy instrument and am starting somewhat from scratch after a few years of break time. It will all take some time. Also, mature musician here who has gone through all pains of touring, recording and band issues. Would only want to work with another mature player who wants to create in a relaxed mature professional manner.
