SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The United States Geological Survey is reporting a 3.6 magnitude earthquake 10 miles off the coast of San Francisco. The earthquake was reported at 5:41 a.m. Thursday, the last day of 2020.
There haven't been any reports of injuries or damage due to the earthquake.
The earthquake was widely felt throughout the Bay Area, and as far away as Sacramento.
Courtesy US Geological Survey This was the second earthquake to strike the Bay Area on Thursday. A magnitude 2.6 hit San Pablo in the East Bay at 1:44 a.m.
On Wednesday, a 2.0 rattled Livermore at 6:53 p.m. and a 2.1 was felt in Los Altos Hills at 8:48 a.m.
