Learn some basic knitting and/or crochet stitches, learn how to read patterns, socialize with like-minded crafters, and contribute to the homeless cats at Tree House Humane Society, all while sipping on some cold brews!
Grace Cocking of Gnome Depot Fibers will be guiding you through a project involving the creation of cat hats, with three designs to choose from! We're asking that the hats be donated to benefit Tree House to sell during their annual Cat Walk Bar Crawl, but if you love your creation, feel free to take it home for your own feline to wear. We're sure they'll love it!
Workshop ticket price includes materials and your first beer with most of the proceeds going to Tree House. Drawing on 17 years knitting and crocheting and over 10 years of teaching experience, Grace's endeavors included teaching at Knit 1 Chicago and former Chicago yarn shop Windy Knitty.
