Full-time Live-in Housekeeper needed for Amazing South Florida Family

Private family is looking for a full-time, experienced live-in housekeeper. Requirements: Must be proficient in clothing and linen care, all types of detailed cleaning, bed-making, light cooking, wardrobe maintenance/organization, and very light pet care. One of the main responsibilities of this role will be to manage the kitchen area, and candidates should understand the importance of pristine kitchen cleanliness, orderliness, and be comfortable with light meal prep including cutting and cleaning fruits and vegetables. This candidate will be working on a team with other domestic staff members to help take care of a 10,000 square foot condominium and will be taking direction from the house manager. Candidates should be prepared to be physically active and on their feet most of the time they are working. The daily schedule will be from approximately 1pm-10pm, with break time available throughout the day as needed. Other staff will be present and working during the morning and earlier afternoon. The weekly schedule will be centered on weekends with one day off, for an average of 9 hours per day. When the family travels every few weeks, additional time off is given. Interested candidates should be flexible with their schedule, and be willing to work additional/different days, hours/holidays as needed. The family spends the summer months (June, July and part of August) in East Hampton at their other home, and will also travel there on short vacations throughout the year. Client is looking for someone that will travel with them in the summer months, and additional trips as needed to perform the same duties as they do in the Miami home. Candidates applying for this position should be professional while being warm and personable, reliable, discrete, self-motivated, organized, detailed, responsible, and able to work in a team setting. Must have the ability to communicate well in English in person and over text messages, and the candidate will need to keep their phone handy and on their person while working. Familiarity with home automation systems (e.g. Crestron) will be helpful.
