Alzheimer's disease is an extremely debilitating and fast progressing illness that is hard to treat, and has minimal research done on it. Having personally seen the effects of Alzheimer's disease in many elderly individuals in my community, I have become passionate about advocating for Alzheimer's awareness and research. All funds from this race will be donated directly to Duke-UNC Alzheimer's Disease Research Center! Come out and RUN 4 RESEARCH!!
