Your instructor, Amber Perretti, is a Master Gardener and has spent the past 20+ years learning how to grow plants in her Central Florida backyard. Being originally from the Mid-West, she had a lot to learn. Gardening has grown into her passion and fills most of her free time! She volunteers regularly in the Mt Dora community, working at the WT Bland Library in their Native Plant & Butterfly Garden, volunteering with the City during beautification days, and weekend tree watering with the Mt Dora Friends of the Environment. In addition to volunteering, she works at the local elementary & middle school as a teachers assistant and is leading the efforts to revitalize the outdoor learning space by creating a native plant butterfly garden.
