Bassist looking for other musicians to form a rock cover band

I'm a bassist, looking to find other musicians to play and gig with. I'm a bit older, but as long as you are old enough to play a bar gig, it's cool. I prefer classic rock, alternative, punk, some metal. 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's mainly, but if there is something newer that you want to try, I'm all for it. Stones, Ramones, Beatles, Judas Priest, Blondie, AC/DC, Zeppelin, ZZ top, etc. I'm not really into country, but I could be persuaded to add country song or two into the mix. I'm not one of those "play it note for note like the original recording" people, I'm all for putting our own spin on things as long as it keeps the spirit of the original. All skill levels welcome though. I have reliable gear and transportation. Please, leave your drama and politics at the door, this is meant to be fun. So lets get together and rock!
