I adopted/rescued a female Eclectus about a year ago. She was living in poor conditions and developed a bad plucking habit. I didn’t have the heart to leave her in the conditions she was living in. I have managed to get her on a good diet but sadly she still plucks her feathers. She has been plucking almost her whole life I was told and may never be able to grow a full body of feathers. Aside from her plucked appearance she is a sweet girl who can say a few phrases. I am looking to rehome her to someone with knowledge on Eclectus care and has a lot of time to give her. Her name is Scarlet and I was told she is around 15 years old. I am asking a rehoming fee of only what I paid and she will come with a large cage. It breaks my heart to let her go but she truly deserves more one on one time and my home is very busy and I think it causes her anxiety. Please contact me if interested.
