Hey singers, Let's get the kooky stuff out of the way first: If you are a MAGA follower, Q-Anon follower, science denier (anti-vax), religious fanatic, etc., then you won't fit in with the folks in this project and there is no need for you to read any further. If you are sane and rational, by all means, read on. Are you familiar with these five songs? 1. Under The Milky Way - The Church 2. Night Moves - Bob Seger 3. Somebody - Bryan Adams 4. Lavender - Marillion 5. Eminence Front - The Who If so, you're about half-way to winning our hearts and minds. These are the songs we’d like to play to audition singers. Are you up for dedicating time to learning new material? If you have a list of songs you already know, roll it up and smoke it. We're almost certain you won't have many of the songs from our master list on your list. Do you have experience playing with backing tracks? Yes, in place of those musicians/musical parts we are missing, we will be using backing tracks and click/cue tracks. Although WE DO NOT plan on playing live immediately, it is a goal of ours to go out and get gigs once we feel we have the right people in place and a tight performance from beginning to end. We practice on Saturday evenings in Laveen (67th Ave and Baseline). Please be willing to give up your Saturday night to dedicate to the project. We have pro practice and live performance rigs/gear. As lead vocalist, you will only need to bring IEM's or Headphones and your favorite mic, if you have one. If not, we have mics. Finally, the drummer and I (guitarist) already have a vision/direction for this band so please be okay with coming along for the adventure and not necessarily being a decision maker.
