The Friends of Okemos Library will hold a fundraising book sale on Saturday, July 30 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 31 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The sale will be held at 5151 Marsh Road, Okemos 48864. We are located at the Meridian Township Hall pavilion (the old Farmers' Market). Follow the yellow "BOOK SALE" signs to the sale. Current members of the Friends of Okemos Library may shop early from 8:00 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 30. Annual memberships will be available at the door for a nominal fee. Thousands of gently used and new books (no library discards) from all categories will be sold in addition to DVD's and CD's. Most items will be priced from 50 cents to $2. On Sunday, July 31, all remaining items will sell for $5 per bag beginning at 2:00 p.m. All funds raised go to support the Okemos Library. Donations of books and other materials for our sales are always welcome and needed. Donations may be brought to the Okemos Library at 4321 Okemos Road during business hours.
