We are currently in search of a skilled service/maintenance technician with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. The ideal candidate will possess overall knowledge of all trades (carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling, landscaping, repairs, light plumbing, and electrical). If you are self-motivated with excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Complete assigned work orders for service by diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem, and making repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements for both rental homes and occupied residences. Complete 1 year warranty requests for new construction homes. Follow procedures for accessing and maintaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items. Take pictures as required and complete documentation and other paperwork timely and accurately so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked. Assist in maintaining the grounds of the office as well as communities and model and spec homes as required. Some examples include picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing, performing general cleaning, painting, replacing signage, general landscaping, etc. Demonstrate customer service skills by interacting with residents and others with respect, answering questions, responding sensitively to complaints, and completing assigned work orders with efficiency and respect for the resident's home and belongings. Current and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
