Description
URGENT - 5 year old brothers need good homes and lots of love! Tank (more white) is 53lbs of love and snuggles. He has lived with his brother Peanut 54lbs all his life but would do well on his own, brother is a bit bossy :-). He is crate trained and house trained. He wants all the attention he can get but is happy to be a couch potato. I am fostering the boys to keep them out of a shelter. They had no medical records but are now fully vaccinated and heartworm and lyme disease free. Great bill of health, doc actually thought they were about 2 yrs old! He needs some lessons in manners but does sit for any kind of attention. Doesn't seem to be food motivated but definitely loves praise and attention. He's a lovebug and I think he'd be ok alone in the house without the crate at some point if he were the only dog. He tends to be submissive and I think he may prefer to be the only dog. Peanut (more brown patches) is 54lbs of lean muscle and love. He has lived with his brother Tank all his life but would do best on his own, he plays like a puppy with his brother, he can be very enthusiastic with play with other dogs. He is crate trained and house trained. He wants all the attention until he doesn't then he sprawls on a cool floor. I am fostering the boys to keep them out of a shelter. They had no medical records but are now fully vaccinated and heartworm and lyme disease free. Great bill of health. He needs some lessons in manners. Mildly food motivated but for a 'high-value' treat I'd bet you'd win his heart. He is a resource guarder. He's a sweetheart and with the right training might be able to be left uncrated and alone in the house. The boys are both available should go to separate homes. The boys lived with a family their whole lives and a relocation left them homeless. While I have only had them for a short time, I would say Tank is more passive and would likely be fine with another dog in the house. Peanut needs to be the only dog in the house. Given they're bulldozer bulldog-ness I'd suggest no small kids. Both need to be neutered. Please consider these boys they really deserve good homes. They'll come well equipped with leashes, harnesses, toys etc.
