I will be a vendor at this weekend's AnimeFest Dallas at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel downtown. I am seeking 2 people to help load-in and setup on Thursday, then help run the booth Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday - including breakdown and load-out on Monday. Hours: Thursday (July 28): 3pm-10pm Friday (July 29): Noon-7pm Saturday (July 30): 10am to 6pm Sunday (July 31): 10am to 6pm Monday (August 1): 10am to 5pm Hours May Vary Slightly Job description: Thursday: Meet me at the hotel, help unload the van and setup the booth. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday during the show duties include: assisting customers, watching out for shoplifters, and organizing merchandise. Monday after the show ends we will pack up the booth and load it into the van. Things to know: The convention center REQUIRES proof of vaccination, or a negative Covid test. You should expect to be on your feet the majority of the time. Merchandise boxes can weigh up to 50 lbs, so any hire will need to be able to lift and carry that amount. Parking fees are not covered. Nor are food and beverages. There will be a lot of direct face time with customers/attendees. Pay rate is $15.00 an hour in cash paid at the end of the show.
