We have current employees with 7yrs tenure; come join an established company. Position openings: Kennel help(no dog experience needed) Play Specialist(have a little dog savvy) Asst. to trainer(able to teach a dog here and sit). If you have an interest in our other positions, you can advance within as you gain experience. We are located close to downtown Dallas BUT don't let traffic scare you away; we have a beautiful location worth making the drive...and your hours can be scheduled to avoid rush hour traffic times. We provide : Free 24 hr telehealth and health care reimbursement $225.00 per month, along with free vision and dental. Paid sick and personal days off. Holiday pay: time and half Free boarding for your personal dogs Discounted grooming services You must be comfortable working outdoors and must be able to lift 40lbs. No prior experience required for some positions. You will have dog training lessons and an opportunity to get instructor certified if you would like. Must be willing to work. This is a good ol fashion work-your-a*#-off cleaning and caring for dogs kind of J-O-B. Please don’t apply if you don’t have pride in your work ethic. Salary paid according to talent- $11.00- $15.00 hr. for qualified candidates. Merit raises or BONUSES FREQUENTLY applied with job performance. Make your own combination of shifts to combine as you like: 7:am-9:am, 9:am-12:noon, 12:noon-5:pm, 8:am-4:pm, 1:pm-7:pm Students welcome! 40 hrs a week or part time- you choose. Most importantly, this is an air-conditioned facility- NICE for the summer heat. Must enjoy being around dogs, have patience and follow instructions verbally and written. Duties include kennel cleaning, facility cleaning, dog equipment cleaning, feeding, walking and continuously picking up poop. No glamor job here- but tons of smooches and hugs from happy four-legged clients. If you have an interest in training, I’ll be glad to teach you what you would specifically like to know about dogs. Since all our positions require you to be handling dogs daily, you’ll be learning dog training skills everyday you work in any position you're hired.
