Hello, registration to open soon, add to your calendar now for Thursdays from Sept 8 to Oct 27, 6:30 pm at First UMC Richardson. Registration is required, but the classes are free. Open Sept 8 and 15, then closed to new additions. Christian Survivors of Suicide Loss - Closed Grief Support Group Fall 2022 - Registration is required in advance, meetings are free. Open to new adds on Sept 8 and Sept 15, thereafter closed to new additions. Family and friends who are experiencing grief and loss after the suicide of a loved one are invited to participate in this 8-week group. Understanding Your Suicide Grief: Ten Essential Touchstones for Finding Hope and Healing Your Heart, by Dr. Alan Wolfelt, will be the primary reference. It is suggested that participants have at least 3 months from their date of loss. The group is appropriate for ages 19 and older. Class size is limited to 10 participants. There is no fee. The group will be open for new participants the first two meetings and then will be closed, not admitting new people.
