Woodcreek HOA is looking for a new maintenance person.
The role of the part time facilities maintenance technician at Woodcreek HOA is to perform a variety of maintenance related tasks to Woodcreek’s common areas and limited common areas that become work orders. The position will report to the Facilities Manager. In general, this is handyperson type of work with a variety of job assignments including:
· Assess and unclogs gutters and troubleshoot clogged drainage downspouts.
· Adjusting wood and metal gates which have become stuck.
· Patch drywall and stain painting of exterior and interior surfaces.
· Replace select old metal entry gates with new gates.
· Pressure wash moss covered sidewalks.
· Occasional landscaping.
· Light plumbing (hose bib drips).
· Light carpentry.
· Spa and pool testing.
Some of the qualifications include:
· Ability to use a variety of power tools including:
o Table saw.
o Pressure washer.
o Belt sander.
o Drills.
· Ability to look for solutions to problems in drainage, landscaping.
· Ability to work safely.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
· Must present a positive, helpful attitude and like working with a variety of personality types including many retirees.
· Self-Starter.
· Problem solver.
The position schedule is 2-3 days per week with some flexibility on which days per week. There is some opportunity to work more hours in the busier summer months.
