Job description Strait Pumping is a septic company based out of Sequim, Washington serving Clallam, Jefferson and Mason counties. We take pride in the quality of our services and our employees who perform them. We are seeking a reliable, hard-working and dedicated pump truck driver technician to join our company. The Pumping Technician will be responsible for operating pump truck to clean out septic tanks and grease traps. This position is responsible for residential and commercial pumping and disposal of non-hazardous waste, locating septic tanks and other various utilities, hydro jetting, and installing septic tank risers. Though septic experience is always a plus, it is not required for this position. Duties: · Pumping and hauling non-hazardous waste to disposal facilities · Complete load manifests and daily logs · Perform main line and drain field cleaning using hydro-jetter · CCTV pipe inspection · Install/reseal risers · Locate septic tanks, drain fields and various utilities using locating equipment · Ensure truck and equipment is clean, neat and organized · Maintain truck Requirements: Valid Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement Clean driving record Have strong communication skills Have strong time and quality management with no supervision Must be able to perform hard labor, including digging Must have the ability to lift/carry 65+ pounds Must have the ability to sit, bend and stand throughout the day Must be able to follow direction and orders Ability to think quickly and analytically Ability to use smart phone/tablet We look forward to working with you.
