How You Will Contribute We believe everyone’s job should consist of many responsibilities they are comfortable with and also many learning opportunities, which means wearing multiple hats and flexing into areas beyond our titles. In this role, your primary oversight and responsibilities will be: Reconciling charges (staff and principals) and keep track of basic accounting Manage staff schedules (nannies, chef, housekeeper, security team) Getting things fixed at the house, whether Wi-Fi or TV systems. Sometimes this means you google to figure out how to fix things yourself and other times it means finding someone else who can address the issue. Overseeing and arranging vendors at home of any kind (pool cleaner, gardener, etc.) Walking grounds and seeing what is out of place and “not perfect” and addressing it Ensure organization of pantries, closets, etc. Ensure that place settings are proper and matching and order dishes Review weekly menus for principals Having house decorated for Christmas holidays, in conjunction w housekeeper Tracking what items need to be purchased (shampoo, creams, makeup, etc.) especially in preparation for travel Running errands (dry cleaning, returns to stores, etc.) Take over personal scheduling (e.g. hair, manicures, etc.) Organize clothing and create packing lists and pack and unpack for work trips Organize personal travel Arrange appointments for children in conjunction with nanny Be proactive about children’s school stuff Desired Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Is a hard-working individual with unquestioned ethics and high integrity. Is an experienced assistant/manager with a MINIMUM OF 5 FULL YEARS OF DIRECT EXPERIENCE who has professionally supported a busy, private household or estate Is a genuine, warm, trustworthy person, comfortable and friendly will all age groups A collaborative team-player, who will be able to provide references who can speak to this Operates with a sense of urgency, but in doing so does not compromise quality of work Has very strong organization skills (you pride yourself on how you think and plan), has an eye or a knack for making things look nice Has an ability to adapt well to changes and environment - handles last-minute changes with grace College degree is a plus Covid vaccination and boosters required Willingness to have extensive background checks performed In return, we offer: Fun, fast-paced environment with solid, collaborative team Oportunity to make a real impact in our new home and with our family Excellent salary and benefits Please concisely list two projects you are most proud of completing as a PA/HM in the body of your email when submitting your resume.
