General Responsibilities: • Review all job orders entering pressroom to ensure process and quality requirement are understood and communicate information to team members. • Initiate action to meet requirements of order. Determine appropriate method of printing, assign equipment and personnel. • Hands – on involvement in performing tasks of press operators and helpers on an as needed. • Supervise subordinates, communicate and delegate position responsibilities, duties, tasks and plans to subordinates. • Monitor work conduct. • Monitor quality produced by subordinates. Minimum Requirements: • High School Diploma Required. • Must pass required drug screen, background check and physical. • Minimum of 1-year related experience. Print production knowledge is very helpful. • Ability to work well in a structured work setting and adhere to a daily schedule including the commitment to excellent attendance with proven reliability. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to actively listen, facilitate communication between production personnel while work is in process. • Ability to work cooperatively with other employees and supervisors. Physical Demands: • Good Manual Dexterity. • Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. • Requires handling materials weighing fifty (50) pounds while, pushing, pulling, lifting, and reaching while lifting. • Labeling gun. • Laminator.
