We are a facilities and maintenance company looking for a General Laborer who will perform various skilled duties in building trades. The basic purpose of this work is to perform various manual tasks requiring some specialized skill and the use of hand tools in general construction and maintenance activities. such as plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical work, appliance repair, boiler, and HVAC repair to maintain, repair and remodel of buildings and facilities. This position requires work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather; lifting and carrying heavy objects; working under exposure to heavy traffic, high noise levels, etc.; may work varied shifts, nights, weekends and holidays; and may work with or be exposed to hazardous materials or chemicals. Understanding of and following of safety and security precautions are a must. This is a full-time position: Monday – Friday, with some flexibility on weekends. Duties: Work with team members to diagnose, assess & repair issues with electrical, plumbing, A/C, heating, HVAC, appliances, tile, carpet, walls, and flooring Renovate properties according to the terms of the contract while not compromising safety and regulations Ensure successful completion of assignments Have thorough knowledge of repairs, maintenance, and construction techniques and of the tools, methods, practices, materials, and equipment used in the construction and mechanical trades
