Pest Pigeon Control Trainees needed NOW! We are a growing business that is looking to add a few trainees to our team or 1 - 2 experienced installers to our bird pest control and pigeon control installation teams. Southwest Avian Solutions is Arizona’s largest family owned and operated Valley wide pest bird and pigeon control Specialty Company serving Arizona since 1997. As you can see from the attached pictures our team of bird control specialists install long lasting pigeon deterrents and bird control deterrents on residential and commercial properties throughout Metro Phoenix, Maricopa County and on commercial properties throughout Arizona and have protected over 16,500 plus properties since 1997. We are looking for additional smart, hardworking, take pride in your work, and think outside the box pigeon control trainees to join our team in the next 15 days. We prefer that you have experience working in the Arizona weather, are not afraid of heights, have used ladders to access roof tops and can use hand tools and must take pride in the work you do by helping people with their pigeon control problems. • Starting pay depending on experience is $ 15.00 – 18.00 to start depending on experience, along with plenty of overtime. • We supply you a full size take it home company service van & gas card, all tools, equipment and cell phone during or after your training depending on experience and when we think you are ready for a van during your training. • Our installers usually will leave from their home in the morning, or get picked up and go directly to the job site which saves them time fighting traffic going to the office and then driving to the job site. • You will need a secure location to park the Gps’ed and alarmed company van at your home when issued a van. • We Pay vacations and many holidays We work where the birds are which is outside on top of residential or commercial buildings most of the time - We prefer that you have experience working in the Arizona weather, are not afraid of heights, can use a 28 – 32’ extension ladders after training or at least can pick them up to access roof tops and know how to use basic hand tools like metal snips, drills, plyers, hammers etc. YOU MUST TAKE PRIDE IN THE WORK YOU DO We may accept you as a trainee, if you have some construction experience and meet most of the below requirements. Skills / Requirements: #1 – Dependable you show up for work & take pride in your workmanship and a strong work ethic • Able to use your brain and someone who likes doing different types of projects every day. • Not afraid of heights, we mainly work on 1 or 2 story homes and on or around commercial buildings. • Some commercial work may include boom lift work that could be 60’ high or more after training. • Ambitious, self-motivated can work well in a group or alone without supervision after training. • Can provide a good customer experience. • Take pride in your workmanship and strong work ethic. • Able to do light carpentry work after trained on how • Exceptional problem solving skills, pigeons are smarter than people give them credit for. • Can work Monday – Friday and some Saturdays or weekends when needed or asked. • Current valid Arizona driver's license (No DUI’s or tickets last 5 years) • Legal to work in USA and Arizona. • Ability to read, clearly write and communicate in English. • Good basic math skills like adding, subtract, multiply and divide accurately. • Can lift 35 - 50 lbs. or more. • Maximum Weight of 250 lbs. because of walking and working on tile roofs. • No health or physical restrictions that would prevent you from doing this outside Arizona job. • Pass a background test if required.
