Gardenology, Inc. is looking for experienced + reliable crew members. We install high-end residential landscape and hardscape projects in the Asheville area. This job provides creative and interesting projects year round. Hourly pay is dependent on experience and skills. Here's what we need from you: - Minimum 1-2 years of related field experience - Knowledge of basic construction techniques - Hardscape + Masonry Experience - Interest in hardscape construction, boulder walls, dry-laid stonework, drainage + irrigation installation, etc. - Solid understanding of basic drainage concepts - Experience in Equipment Operation (Track Hoe/ Skid Steer) is a PLUS - Heavy Lifting is required (80+ lbs) - Must be willing to work outdoors 100% of the time - Must have a valid Driver's License. Experience in driving a truck + trailer is a bonus. - Willingness to learn from others - Have a positive attitude and be solution-minded - Be organized, punctual, and hard-working - We are a drug-free, drama-free workplace. You won’t be asked to do the same thing every single day, as we adapt to the work requirements that day. The work is not easy (it's landscaping...) but we make it fun. Qualified candidates are able to work independently and as part of a team, be able to multi-task while paying attention to detail, as well as able to understand and follow verbal and written directions.
