Returning this fall to Oaks Amusement Park, ScaregroundsPDX will be bringing the scream back to Halloween! Featuring three haunted walkthrough attractions, rides and concessions by Oaks Amusement Park, Buried Alive! Experience and much more! ScareGrounds PDX is the largest and fastest-growing Halloween Event in the Pacific Northwest and has been featured nationally on CBS News, Good Morning America, and The Wall Street Journal. About Vendetta Productions LLC: ScareGrounds PDX is produced by Vendetta Productions LLC, a Portland OR based Production Design & Rental Company that offers a wide variety of specialty services for event, film, television, and exhibit. We utilize a wide variety of skillsets and trades throughout our projects which include: set construction/carpentry, cnc, welding, animatronics, sound, lighting, microelectronics, special effects, scenic painting, set decorating, and more. Portland OR Halloween Event is on the hunt for 30+ aspiring monsters to join our terrifyingly talented cast for this upcoming Season! Have fun scaring and engaging with customers inside our haunted attractions with this unique seasonal opportunity! About the Event: ScareGroundsPDX () is Portland Oregon's premier Halloween Event and Haunted House held annually at the historic Oaks Amusement Park. As the area's only real scream park, in addition to (3) separate haunted houses, the event also features amusement rides, themed side attractions, mini golf, roller skating, concessions and more! Positions Available: We have a wide variety of roles available for individuals of all ages (16+), shapes, sizes, and comfort levels. Some roles are more dialog based, while others focus on utilizing actor hallways to appear/disappear in multiple rooms. We do our best to cast the strongest person for the part. No previous experience required. Ideal cast members will be outgoing individuals who aren’t afraid to “go big” or appear “silly” in front of strangers. Position Responsibilities: Ability to stand and perform in full character (costume and make-up/mask) for a full shift Ability to stay on task, in character and spot, for a full shift Ability to take and utilize direction in your performance Reliable transportation and arrives promptly on-time each night Must wear full costume and make-up (or, mask) for role Understands and demonstrates the proper safety practices and protocols inside the attractions Attends all pre-season auditions, safety meetings, and rehearsals, as required Performs other duties as assigned Position Details: Hourly Compensation: $16 Location: Portland, OR at Oaks Amusement Park Part Time commitment: 20hrs/week evenings throughout the Halloween season; some pre-season Audition Requirement: August 7th and 14th at Oaks Amusement Park, at the Dance Pavilion Open Casting Call, arrive any time between 1pm - 5pm. What are we looking for?
