General Laborer ($16-$18/hr) Overview: Tampa based commercial facilities maintenance contractor seeking skilled and reliable construction laborers. Ideal candidate to have experience in general building and construction repairs such as Demo, Drywall, Tile & Grout, Acoustical ceiling repairs, etc… Must have reliable transportation to get to shop and/or job sites. Laborer will primarily ride along side one of our seasoned technicians on a daily basis. Must be able to perform daily assigned tasks with minimal supervision and provide workmanlike quality of work. Essential functions & responsibilities: • Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Perform service in a professional and workmanlike manner in accordance with company standards. • Complete assigned work in a timely fashion. • Tile & Grout, Painting, drywall repairs, FRP, general carpentry, Demo, acoustical ceiling repairs, door repairs, etc. as necessary. • Ready and willing to take on daily challenges and problem solve. • Arrive on site on time ready to work with a great attitude. • Use of hand tools, power tools, & equipment properly and safely. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction/remodeling, general building repairs. • Ability to work a mix of daytime & nighttime hours as scheduled projects require. Work hours may vary depending on project and customer. • Authorized to work in the US • Valid driver’s license. • Have a great attitude and reliable.
