Description
Looking to hire 2 maintenance workers to join our property management team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Complete daily assignments/work orders
• Complete paperwork each day for work completed
• Communicate any information about jobs assigned (i.e. reasons jobs could not be completed or why they would need to be out contracted)
• Company truck provided for work transportation. Maintain assigned company work truck (keeping it clean and informing manager of any issues or services that are needed)
• After hours emergency on call hours (hours outside 9am – 5pm) as needed – alternating schedule with entire maintenance team
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have your own basic tools to complete jobs. Non-basic tools will be supplied
• Must be willing to work beyond regular shift, nights and/or weekends as needed since unforeseen situations occur from time to time.
• Should be comfortable with heights; and be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be a team player.
• Performs additional job-related duties as required.
• Good communication skills and must be able to work closely with other maintenance personnel and maintenance supervisor
• Must organize paperwork from day to day operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED and /or 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Strong work ethic and pride in their work.
• Basic knowledge of scheduling software as well as Microsoft office
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organization skills
SKILLS: (Intermediate Level)
• Roofing/siding
• Plumbing
• Simple electric
Compensation: Pay per hour will be based according to skill level.
Opportunity for increased pay within the first 90- days pending review of performance.
Driver’s license is absolutely mandatory / and a reliable source of transportation to and from work.
