DUKE is a pit mix that has been rescued from a life without love or affection. I already have a dog, so I am wanting to find him a forever home where he can be loved and appreciated for the wonderful dog that he is. Not sure of his age, but I think he is between 2-3 years old. He is shy but can adapt very easily and fast. (He did with me) Duke is sandy blonde with white markings. I have been feeding him to get his weight up to where it should be, and his shots are current with a microchip installed. (Vet papers to prove) He has never really learned how to play but from me showing him love and attention his funny and playful side is showing more and more every day. Curious, smart, quite Handsome and ever so sweet is how to describe this pittie. Inquiries must have a safe home for him and be allowed to be inside. He was put outside when he was a pup and never was allowed inside the home or ever was fed regularly like he should have been. No human interaction or love was never given to him...he was just a piece of the back yard until I moved in next door. I began to see how he was and immediately started feeding and watering him. (at least 6 months) Finally, the owners let me take him and I was shocked when he showed how little he knew about being a dog. Playing is something he never had, hugs he never had, being talked to and loving on him makes him so happy and responsive. I truly hope his forever adopter is ready to teach this baby how to be loved and include him into his or her life. No money asked, he is free.
