Farmer’s Market Driver LOCATION: Brooklyn TERM: August - November WAGE CATEGORY: SEASONAL POSITION PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operate vehicle to transport and set up equipment at market locations • Follow prearranged weekly schedules to meet program itineraries at each assigned market location • Follow routes to destination, or use maps and GPS to navigate routes on the fly • Maintain vehicle and equipment condition and cleanliness • Maintain and have safe and compliant driving record, following all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations. • Collect market reports and deliver to office staff secured and undamaged QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants are required to provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccination • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Previous experience driving preferred • Physically able to lift and carry 50 - 70 pounds • Positive attitude and professional demeanor • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during daily routine • Reliable and punctual and demonstrates professionalism to job and duties • Able to follow verbal directions and follow GPS • Able to work well alone and willing to commit to the entire market season • Able to adapt to changing schedules and routines • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience; or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to 2 years of high school education COMPENSATION: $21/Hour.
