A Castle For Classy Kids Learning Center, Inc., a daycare center in ENY Brooklyn seeks a custodian to assist in maintaining the facilities. The individual must be familiar with cleaning and sanitizing procedures. They must also be punctual and work well with others. Hours are 9-6 Monday through Friday. Custodian Responsibilities: - General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition. - Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. - Cleaning and stock restrooms and update all cleaning logs. - Emptying trash receptacles, compactors, and bagging trash for proper disposal. Qualifications: - Ability to manage your time efficiently. - Work well independently. - Ability to lift at least 25 pounds. - Handle basic maintenance, cleaning, and other janitorial work. - Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies. - Able to use basic cleaning equipment. - must be able to pass a NYC DOE background check.
