"Free" Program and Concert, every thursday, May thru October, 7pm to 9pm. Plenty of lighted on site parking, just e blocks East of Riverline Train Station, Location: The Farm Store Organic Green Cafe, 1101 Cooper St, Edgewater Park, N.J. 08010. Program begins at 7pm (no entrance after 7pm) our Guest speaker, Bill Moore, Historian and television personality (60 Episodes "History for my Grand children" still available on you tube", will prepare us for the Musical Concert to begin at 8pm. Bill will speak of the Cattle Drives, post Civil War, to bring the Confederate cattle up to the rail heads in Kansas City and Chicago. The necessity for the "drovers" to sing along the way to stay off boredom, and to keep the cattle calm so they don't stampede. At 8pm sharp, "Cow Boy Phil", will arrive to do a Roy Rogers and Gene Autry impersonation. Watch the tip of his hat, to know when Cow boys song he's singing. Roy Rogers wore his hat set back on his hat which you can see in the photo. Gene Autry chose to pull his cow boy hat down on his forehead. Prizes for western attire and trivea questions about the Singing Cow boys of the 1950 and 60's, of movie fame and Television Fame. Seating is limited to 15 persons. We are a BYOB so bring your spirits with you. Performace is inside The Farm Store Organic Green Cafe. 6pm kitchen serves $5 soup and Farm Baked Bread Bar $5. Kitchen closes at 7pm. We are a cash and carry farm. No credit cards, vouchers, etc. Doors open at 6pm.
