Summary/Objective The primary responsibilities of the Facility Tech are: Responsibility for general cleaning, repair work, and routine maintenance throughout various facilities. Responsible for the completion of any repairs or improvements to facility relating to the field of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general mechanics as seen necessary by the Properties Manager. Responsible for completing the majority of the cleaning in locker rooms and shower rooms that need to be performed after building closing hours. Consults and cooperates with staff in maintaining the proper cleanliness and “picked-up” appearance of the facilities, works cooperatively with all staff members. Responsible for the general set-up of rooms for meeting purposes and program activities. Responsible for skilled type projects or repairs relating to the electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general mechanical know-how. Essential Functions Ability to identify and complete project work, determine scope, procure materials, and make needed repairs Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
