Hiring for UAB Hospital Environmental Services (housekeeping) & Food Services - THIS WEDNESDAY, 27th! ** Time: 10 am - 1 pm ** Location: BIRMINGHAM CAREER CENTER. 3216 4th Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35222 ALL SHIFTS INCLUDE ROTATING WEEKENDS. MUST BE WILLING ON FIRST DAY TO GET A TB TEST, FLU SHOT & START COVID VACCINE, if not already vaccinated. Maison with Express Employment Professionals Bham South will be interviewing for the following openings: HOUSEKEEPING - Base pay $12.00/hr., PLUS $520 Retention Bonus every 90 days. Full time. Evening Shifts 3pm-11:30pm, Night Shifts 11pm-7:30am, Day Shifts 7am – 3:30pm PATIENT TRANSPORT - $13.00/hr. Evening Shifts 3pm-11:30pm, Night Shifts 11pm-7:30am Will be transporting wheelchairs and beds throughout the hospital. Walking 90 % of the time. FOOD SERVICE POSITIONS - all start @ $13.00 /hr: ** FOOD RUNNER – 6:30am-3pm, 12:30-9pm Stocking carts with fulfilled orders/trays and delivering within the hospital rooms. ** FOOD TRAY SWEEPERS – 1-9:30pm Retrieving used trays and utensils from patient rooms. ** TRAY LINE - 5:45am-2:15pm, 6:30am-3pm, 10am-6:30pm, 12:30-9pm Building the order on the tray by selecting the items indicated on the ticket ** EXPERIENCED COOKS - $17.00 /hr. to start; raise after evaluation period. Evening shift 12:30pm-9pm Must have experience is commercial kitchen. Will be front of house or back of house using recipes and cooking items HWY 280 area - Hotel Housekeeping- $13.00 /hr. to start. Full time- 8am-5pm with some weekends. Will be Cleaning hotel rooms.
